Food for Thought

Questions to Ponder for Good Parenting:

  1. Are you consistent and does your child always know what to expect? (Does “no” always mean “no”?)
  2. Do you work on making connections with your child more important than your work on making corrections?
  3. What do your actions teach?
  4. Are you more reactive or proactive?
  5. Does your response to a problem make it better or worse?
  6. Do you look at a problem as being the child or the situation?
  7. What is your overall goal as a parent?
